Die SATA-IO (Serial ATA International Organization) hat im Vorfeld des Intel Developer Forums (IDF) in San Francisco die Entwicklung der neuen Schnittstelle “Mini-SATA” angekündigt. Der kurz mSATA genannte Anschluss ist für besonders kompakte Geräte vorgesehen.
